Fundraising for a council can come from many sources. Annual campaign (FOS), special events, and foundations to name a few. A balance of all of these sources provides the variety to meet the needs of donors.

 

Below are some selected Fundraising ideas and best practices. For Michigan Crossroads Council annual campaign, we have focused our efforts on what we call Leadership and Adventure for Tomorrow. For this campaign, we visit with donors to discuss the impact of a five-year operating and endowment gift. Because of this effective approach we have already secured more than $300,000 at the start of each year's fundraising efforts. It has also increased endowment giving.
